Kathy Milans lives with her husband, Steve, Penny the Comfort Retriever, and Zoe the adopted greyhound on the Kentucky River just outside of Wilmore, Kentucky. When not serving in a professional capacity, Kathy can be found kayaking, making wall tapestries, gardening or reading. Not ready to fully retire, she is scaling back in her professional life by retiring as a KY Licensed Pastoral Counselor; she now provides spiritual direction.
Kathy has experience as an elementary educator, teacher trainer, adjunct professor, and has worked as Family Resource Director for a major hospital. Along with a B.A. and M.A. in Education, she holds an M.A. in Pastoral Counseling from Asbury Theological Seminary and is credentialed as a spiritual director.
